Wife of Anambra State Governor, Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano has urged women to be virtuous in everything they do and wherever they find themselves.As there are manuals for all produced items as God has prepared manuals of good living for women,’’ Mrs Obiano said at Living Faith Church, Nibo, Awka South Local Government Area (LGA).
The event was held to mark the Women/Mother’s Day celebration tagged “The Virtuous Woman’’.They are to discharge their duties patiently and in God’s humility, knowing that they were specifically moulded for exemplary behaviour to their children, husbands and environment,’’ she said.
Governor’s wife was represented by Managing Director, Anambra State Leisure Parks and Street Beautification Agency Mrs Ify Atogu.Mrs Obiano said that women had a lot to do in society: “women should religiously strive to maintain their position as the neck in their marriages and otherwise, because it will help their husbands, children and offices’’.She then went spiritual as she prayed for Anambra women and women of the Church to be the best anywhere they find themselves.
In the name of God that created Anambra as the Light of the Nation, I pray that all women in Anambra and Living Faith Church, Nibo be ahead and exemplary everywhere and in everything they do.’’Resident Pastor, LFC Nibo, Pastor Amos Aina, while thanking the governor’s wife for finding time to be at the Church to celebrate womanhood, said women were special because they share divinity with God.
It is a thing of joy that God put us with our women; even Jesus Christ had to come through a woman, so they carry life and they are to reflect God everywhere they are.’’Living Faith Church worldwide also known as Winners’ Chapel celebrated Mother’s Day in March yearly, but deferred this year’s celebration to July because of COVID-19 pandemic shut down.
