A California man has been arrested for the heinous and shocking alleged crime of raping a 92-year-old woman with dementia on Tuesady afternoon, CBS Sacramento reports.According to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s office, James Lee Coose, 45, got thrown in jail on Wednesday in the wake of his alleged rape of the elderly woman with dementia in her home in Stockton, California.Police tracked down Coose on Wednesday as he was walking around just two blocks from the scene of the alleged crime.
Surveillance cameras operated by neighbors of the California woman with dementia recorded a man leaving her home after the brutal attack allegedly took place.Deputies say the woman’s caregiver walked in on the attack, startling the man, who immediately left.The caregiver immediately took action, dialing 911 and also managing to snap a photo of the attacker as he fled.

This aided in the massive manhunt for the California rapist of the poor old woman with dementia.Learning about the attack in its direct aftermath, neighbors of the rape survivor told CBS that they were devastated about how she had suffered.
According to The U.S. Sun, a huge response from the concerned public helped the cops track down the California man who allegedly raped the nonagenarian woman with dementia.
The elderly woman who was allegedly assaulted was being treated at the hospital for her injuries and is expected to recover.One devastated neighbor, Karen Schenone, told CBS, “Oh my gosh. How somebody could do that, to anybody, but especially to a helpless 92-year-old woman.”
“I’m appalled,” said another neighbor, Richard Thomson.
“The lowest form is someone that’s going to attack the elderly.”
According to Metro, California authorities are charging Coose with rape where a person is incapable because of a mental disorder or physical disability, burglary with intent to commit rape, elder abuse, and resisting arrest for what the man allegedly did to the old woman with dementia.The man accused of raping the woman with dementia had a hearing in a California court on Thursday afternoon.
In his mugshot, Choose looks disheveled and unwashed, with a bushy sandy beard, messy hair, ruddy, sunburnt cheeks and a vacant look in his pale blue eyes.
Local police made a plea on social media on Tuesday for help in tracking down the suspect–a post that was shared more than 2,000 times.According to ABC 10, California authorities have asked the public for any tips they may have about the case of the man who allegedly raped the old woman with dementia.
