Obscure shooters have stole a Minister with the Catholic Archdiocese of Onitsha, Fire up. Fr. Joseph Igweagu.
The pastor who is the Ward Minister responsible for St Joseph’s Area Abata Nsugbe, Anambra East Nearby Government Region of the state was said to have been snatched on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 while getting back to his home in the wake of commending a Burial service Vigil Mass at Umunnachi in Njikoka Committee region if the state.
An assertion delivered by the Catholic Archdiocese of Onitsha and endorsed by the Archdiocesan Chancellor of Catholics Archdiocese of Onitsha, Fire up. Fr. Prudentius Emeja Aroh, declared the capture of the minister.
“It is with shock serious areas of strength for however in the affection and assurance of God that we declare to the Clerics, strict, lay faithfuls of Onitsha Archdiocese and all people of altruism, the kidnapping of our Minister Fire up. Fr. Joseph Igweagu, the Area Minister of St Joseph Ward Abata Nsugbe.
Fire up. Fr. Joseph was hijacked while getting back to his home in the wake of praising a burial service Vigil Mass at Umunnachi on Wednesday night twelfth October 2022. We request for genuine petition for his unqualified delivery from the hands of his abductors. The Archdiocese of Onitsha is doing all that could be within reach to get his opportunity.
While appeal to God for the transformation of his abductors, we approach our Mom Mary, the undoer of bunches, to intervene for his sake so he will be immediately delivered safe”
The Anambra state police order is yet to remark on this turn of events.
